2013 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set Available January 22
WASHINGTON—Collectors may begin placing their orders for the 2013 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set at noon Eastern Time (ET) on January 22, 2013. The set contains proof versions of the new quarters scheduled to be released this year with reverse (tails side) designs that honor White Mountain National Forest (New Hampshire), Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (Ohio), Great Basin National Park (Nevada), Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine (Maryland), and Mount Rushmore National Memorial (South Dakota). The obverse of the coins (heads side) features a restored version of the 1932 John Flanagan portrait of George Washington.
The United States Mint will debut new packaging for this product in 2013. The image on the front of the outer carton is Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the last quarter of the year. The images on the back of the carton include each national park or site, its name, the state, and the year in which the park was established as a national site.
The 2013 United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set is priced at $14.95.
